A key goal of CSTEPS is to contribute to local, national and global discussions on science, technology and environmental issues while training the next generation of researchers in the field.
CSTEPS trains doctoral, master, and undergraduate students to develop policy relevant research questions, design and execute high quality applied research, and engage with relevant stakeholders to provide empirically informed input to policy. Center graduates are exceptionally capable interdisciplinary social science researchers familiar with all aspects of the research process.
