CSTEPS Work Highlighted at ASU Biodiversity Data Science Workshop

On November 18-19, CSTEPS Director, Dr. Eric Welch will be participating in a workshop that aims to identify emerging research areas or societal challenges that demand stronger integration across the biodiversity data lifecycle. Expert participants from research institutions across the US will also work to better understand tradeoffs between standardization and customization asstrategies for realizing this integration via changes to data governance, infrastructure, andtraining. The program is designed to help spark new ideas and collaborations addressing these questions, with attention to integrating across biology, social science, and the humanities.
