CSTEPS kicks off the semester and welcomes two new team members

Although we are holding our all team meetings via zoom, CSTEPS research is in full swing as we start the fall semester and we are proud to welcome new graduate students to our team. We've launched 2 new projects: SciOPS and an NSF funded study on data sharing to research outputs before and after SARS-CoV-2 peak infection. Mattia Caldarulo and Shaika Islam, ASU School of Public Affairs PhD students, joined our team.

Mattia's research interests are in innovation in local governments, technology policy, and nonprofit organizations. He received his master's degree from Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Shaika completed her undergraduate degree in Economics at North South University in Bangladesh and her master's in Applied Economics from Washington State University.

We are very excited to have them on our team. You can learn more about Shaika and Mattia, as well as the rest of the CSTEPS team on our people page.
