CSTEPS has partnered with the School of Sustainability at ASU, the International Center for Agricultural Research and Development (CIRAD) in France, Bioversity International and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). It has also collaborated with international and national organizations such as the UN FAO and Science, Technology and Environment Policy Institute (STEPI) in Korea and Malaya University in Malaysia.
