2019 Biosecurity Workshop

This event is in partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Environmental Health and Safety and the Watts College of Public Service and Community Solutions.  

This two-day workshop will focus on community engagement with biosecurity in an applied and practical manner.

It will bring together biosafety and biosecurity professionals from across the nation to discuss:

  • Biological information security.
  • Emergence of synthetic viruses.
  • Ethical quandaries in biotechnology
  • Disaster preparedness, do-it-yourself biology and international collaborations.
