New Publication: The impacts of foreignness and cultural distance on commercialization of patents

Current CSTEPS PhD student, Heyjie Jung (pictured), CSTEPS Director, Dr. Eric Welch, and CSTEPS alumn Dr. Eric van Holm authored a recently published article titled: "The impacts of foreignness and cultural distance on commercialization of patents" in the Journal of Technology Transfer. This paper explores differences in the rates of patent commercialization between native-born and foreign-born academic scientists and offers findings that may be helpful for academic technology transfer offices in serving a key part of the academic workforce. You can access the full article here
