DivSeek, designing and managing large scale collaborative initiatives in genomics

In March 2016, C-STEPS completed a report on governance structures and principles to design and manage large scale, collaborative research initiatives that promote the use and sharing of genetic data and material across sectors, disciplines and national boundaries.

The report aimed to inform the Governance Steering Committee of a new global initiative in the field of the genetic research for food and agriculture, DivSeek. The research was funded by the Global Crop Diversity Trust (GCDT) and the International Treaty for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITPGRFA).
